DALI LED Controllers – RGB 3CH

Professional RGB control with the DALI/DALI2 protocol

Standard

DALI RGB 3-channel controllers and drivers allow the management of red, green, and blue LEDs through the DALI/DALI2 protocol. Models are available with 12/24/36/48 V DC and 110/220 VAC input, with PWM outputs at constant voltage (CV) or constant current (100–1500 mA). Some DALI RGB drivers can be programmed via NFC and operate in stand-alone mode, without an external application controller, making them suitable for small, medium, and large installations.

System architecture

  • DALI RGB devices: 3CH modules for managing the R-G-B channels.
  • DALI/DALI2 LED drivers: CV/CC versions with PWM outputs for RGB loads.
  • DALI wall panels: touch or slider controls for 502/503 flush-mounted boxes to adjust colors and intensity.
  • DALI Push Button Couplers: enable local management with traditional push buttons.
  • DALI/DALI2/D4i relays and sensors: auxiliary load control and presence/light detection.
  • Multi-protocol compatibility: integration possible through DALI/DMX or DALI/RF gateways.
  • Unique addressing: up to 64 devices per DALI line, with group and scene assignment.
  • Multi-point/multi-zone topology: centralized or distributed control of multiple RGB loads via the same DALI bus.

Advanced features

  • RGB color mixing: creation of a wide range of chromatic scenes.
  • Easy integration: two-wire DALI bus (free polarity), power and LED load.
  • Modularity: expand the system by adding drivers and devices.
  • Multi-point & multi-zone: independent or synchronized control of multiple environments.
  • Deep dimming <1%: smooth, flicker-free regulation even at low levels.
  • PWM frequency: 250–500 Hz (entry), 1–4 kHz (mid), 8–16 kHz (high-end), also suitable for photo/video.
  • NFC programming: fast, customizable setup for compatible drivers.
  • DT6/DT8 support: devices available as DT6, DT8 or multi-function DT6+DT8 depending on model.
  • Visual & aesthetic comfort: color scenes to enhance spaces and atmospheres.
  • Energy efficiency: reduced consumption and longer LED lifetime.

Typical applications

  • Chromotherapy & relaxation: color palettes for emotional well-being.
  • Emotional showers: color-light cycles paired with sounds and aromas.
  • Residential: living rooms, home theaters and living areas with decorative color scenes.
  • Hospitality: hotels, lounge bars, restaurants with multicolor effects.
  • Retail: shop windows, displays and promotional corners with dynamic lighting.
  • Creative offices: coworking and design studios where light supports creativity and well-being.
  • Events & cultural spaces: museums, theaters, cinemas and conference halls with scenic lighting.

Available types
