Centralinas LED DALI Dimmer 1CH

Professional LED lighting control with DALI protocol

Standard

DALI dimmer 1-channel controllers and drivers allow digital regulation of the brightness of monochromatic LEDs using the DALI protocol, the international standard for digital lighting control. Models are available with 12/24/36/48 V DC and 110/220 VAC input, with PWM outputs at constant voltage (CV) or constant current (100–1500 mA), as well as versions with phase-cut dimming at 110/220 VAC. Some DALI and DALI2 devices can be programmed via NFC and also operate in stand-alone mode, without requiring an external DALI application controller.

System architecture

  • Dedicated DALI devices: compact or flush-mounted modules for monochromatic loads with 1CH PWM output.
  • DALI/DALI2 LED drivers: available in CV/CC versions with PWM outputs or phase-cut dimming at 110/220 VAC.
  • DALI wall panels: touch or slider controls for 502/503 flush-mounted boxes, for local or integrated regulation.
  • DALI Push Button Couplers: enable the use of traditional push buttons for local dimming control.
  • DALI/DALI2/D4i relays and sensors: for auxiliary load control and presence/light detection.
  • DALI controls: programmable control units and accessories for advanced management.
  • Retrofit of non-dimmable luminaires: DALI drivers with 110/220 VAC input and adjustable constant current output (100–1500 mA) allow premium lamps/chandeliers to become dimmable and controllable.
  • Multi-protocol compatibility: conversion possible via DALI/DMX or DALI/RF gateways.
  • Unique addressing: up to 64 devices per DALI line, with group and scene assignment.
  • Multi-point/multi-zone topology: centralized or distributed management of multiple loads on the same DALI bus.

Advanced features

  • Easy integration: two-wire DALI bus with free polarity; connection to power supply and LED load.
  • System modularity: straightforward expansion by adding drivers and control devices.
  • Multi-point & multi-zone: independent or synchronized control of multiple areas on the same bus.
  • Deep dimming <1%: precise, stable, flicker-free digital regulation even at low intensities.
  • PWM frequency: 250–500 Hz (entry), 1–4 kHz (mid), 8–16 kHz (high-end), stable dimming suitable for photo/video.
  • NFC programming: fast, customizable setup for compatible drivers/dimmers.
  • Stand-alone operation: some models can operate without a central DALI controller.
  • DT6 support: interoperability across vendors and unified control of monochromatic loads.
  • Visual comfort: brightness adaptation for relaxation, work, or decorative accent scenes.
  • Longer lifetime: lower operating levels reduce heat and extend LED life.
  • Energy savings: optimized consumption with reduced indirect CO₂ emissions.

Typical applications

  • Residential: premium homes, rooms, kitchens, corridors and stairs with centralized or stand-alone control.
  • Hospitality: hotel rooms, lobbies, restaurants and common areas with programmable scenes.
  • Retail: shop windows, displays and promotional corners with dynamic light control.
  • Offices & studios: open spaces, meeting rooms, receptions and workstations with adjustable lighting.
  • Public & cultural spaces: libraries, schools, museums, theaters and conference halls with centralized control.

Available types

  • DALI dimmer 1CH: single-channel regulation for white or fixed-color LEDs via the DALI protocol.
