Centralinas LED DMX CCT 2CH

DMX CCT 2CH: Digital control of tunable white warm/cool LEDs

Standard

DMX CCT 2-channel controllers and drivers allow precise adjustment of the color temperature of warm/cool white LEDs via the DMX512/RDM protocol. Models are available with input at 12/24/36/48 V DC and 110/220 VAC, with PWM outputs at constant voltage (CV) or constant current (100–1500 mA), as well as versions with phase-cut dimming 110/220 VAC. Thanks to RDM, configuration and diagnostics can be performed remotely without physical access. Although DMX is designed for large lighting systems, it can also be used in small installations where wired control is required.

System architecture

  • DMX CCT decoders: compact or recessed modules with 2CH PWM outputs for tunable white LEDs.
  • Compatible drivers: CV/CC and phase-cut dimming versions at 110/220 VAC; relay modules also available.
  • Wired controls: wall panels with dial or slider for warm/cool adjustment, installable in 502/503 boxes.
  • DMX consoles/masters: management via professional consoles, DJ controllers, or PC software with Art-Net/sACN protocols.
  • Standard DMX cabling: transmission over shielded 3/5-pin XLR cable up to 300 m without repeaters.
  • Wireless DMX: wireless transmission possible with typical coverage of 200–300 m in open air.
  • Multi-protocol compatibility: integration via DALI/DMX or RF/DMX gateways.
  • Multi-zone topology: a wall panel or console can control multiple receivers in the same system.

Advanced features

  • Digital precision: smooth, stable regulation even at low intensity levels.
  • Channel composition: warm white + cool white for continuous CCT mixing.
  • Real, dynamic white: wide CCT range (e.g., 2700–6500 K) for day/evening routines.
  • Deep dimming <1%: precise, flicker-free control for broadcast, cinema, and photo/video.
  • High-frequency PWM: 250–500 Hz (entry), 1–4 kHz (mid), 8–32 kHz (high-end), ideal for broadcast, cinema, and slow-motion.
  • RDM: remote addressing, configuration, and diagnostics.
  • Modularity: integrate multiple decoders on the same bus for scalable systems.
  • Art-Net/sACN: Ethernet multi-universe management with HTP/LTP merging for large projects.
  • Longer lifetime: operating at lower levels reduces heat and extends system life.
  • Energy savings: lower consumption and reduced indirect CO₂ emissions.
  • Efficiency/comfort: adaptive lighting oriented to circadian cycles for well-being and productivity.

Typical applications

  • Offices and studios: dynamic light for daytime focus and evening relaxation.
  • Healthcare & medical spas: treatment and recovery rooms with CCT optimized to biological rhythms.
  • Residential: kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms with sunrise–day–sunset scenes.
  • Hospitality: hotels, lobbies, restaurants with time-of-day ambience.
  • Retail: product presentation with targeted CCT (warm for food, neutral for fashion, etc.).
  • Educational and museum spaces: sustained visual comfort with task-appropriate CCT.
