DMX LED Controllers – RGBWA 5CH
DMX RGBWA 5CH: digital RGB + CCT control for maximum color flexibility
Standard
DMX RGBWA 5-channel controllers and drivers combine the three color channels RGB (red, green, blue) with two CCT channels (warm white + cool white), offering maximum lighting versatility through the DMX512/RDM protocol. Models are available with input at 12/24/36/48 V DC and 110/220 VAC, with PWM outputs at constant voltage (CV) or constant current (50–1050 mA). With RDM, devices can be configured, monitored, and diagnosed remotely. Although designed for large scenographic and architectural projects, the DMX RGBWA system can also be used in small-sized installations with wired control.
System architecture
- DMX RGBWA decoders: compact or recessed modules with 5CH PWM outputs.
- Compatible drivers: CV/CC at 12/24/36/48 V DC; models with 110/220 VAC input and PWM or CC outputs available.
- Wired controls: wall-mounted panels with touch/slider for RGB and dynamic white adjustment, installable in 502/503 boxes.
- DMX consoles/masters: management via professional consoles, DJ controllers, or PC software with Art-Net/sACN.
- Standard DMX cabling: shielded XLR 3/5-pin cable up to ~300 m without repeaters.
- Wireless DMX: wireless transmission with typical coverage of 200–300 m in open air.
- Multi-zone topology: wall panels or consoles can control multiple receivers within the same system.
- Multi-protocol compatibility: integration into mixed systems via DALI/DMX or RF/DMX gateways.
Advanced features
- Digital precision: smooth, stable regulation even at low levels.
- Channel composition: RGB + Warm White + Cold White for extended spectrum and natural warm tones.
- Real & dynamic white: improved color accuracy and skin/material rendering.
- Deep dimming <1%: smooth transitions and high visual comfort.
- High-frequency PWM: 250–500 Hz (entry), 1–4 kHz (mid), 8–32 kHz (high-end), ideal for broadcast/cinema/slow-motion.
- RDM: remote addressing, configuration, and diagnostics.
- Modularity: multiple decoders on the same bus for scalable systems.
- Art-Net/sACN: Ethernet multi-universe with HTP/LTP merging.
- Longer lifetime: lower drive levels = less heat and longer LED life.
- Energy savings: lower consumption and reduced indirect CO₂ emissions.
- Efficiency/comfort: ideal for circadian cycles (metameric tuning), chromotherapy, and emotional scenes.
Typical applications
- Advanced circadian cycles: anti-aging clinics/medical spas, wellness offices.
- Chromotherapy: relaxation rooms, wellness paths with warm/comforting tones.
- Emotional showers: multisensory experiences with light/color, sounds, and aromas.
- Hospitality: hotels, lounges, restaurants, mood-variable rooms.
- Retail: shop windows and corners with advanced effects and quality whites.
- Events & stage: concerts, fairs, premium scenography.
- Outdoor architectural: facades, gardens, artistic paths.
