Z-Wave Dimmer 1CH for smart single-channel LED control

Secure wireless brightness adjustment for white or fixed-color LEDs

Standard

Z-Wave 1-channel dimmers and drivers enable wireless brightness control via the Z-Wave / Z-Wave Plus protocol, designed for residential and small business automation. They are compatible with the main Z-Wave hubs/gateways (primary controllers) and can be integrated into scenes, automations, and voice control through the ecosystem. Available in versions with 12/24/36/48 V DC and 110/220 VAC input, with constant voltage (CV) or constant current (CC) outputs; there are also phase-cut 110/220 VAC models and relay modules.

System architecture

  • Z-Wave Dimmer 1CH: compact or flush-mounted modules for single-channel LED circuits.
  • Compatible drivers: CV/CC versions with DC or AC input; relay modules also available.
  • Z-Wave Hub/Gateway: primary controller for device inclusion/exclusion, scenes, and automations.
  • Controls: ecosystem mobile app, Z-Wave wall controllers/panels, remote controls, push button couplers for traditional switches.
  • Multiprotocol integration: bridges Z-Wave/DALI, Z-Wave/0–10V, Z-Wave/DMX for hybrid systems.
  • Mesh topology: network with node routing; typical indoor coverage 20–30 m per hop (building-dependent).

Advanced features

  • Wireless control: no extra wiring required, also accessible remotely via cloud.
  • S2 Security: secure key exchange and encrypted communication.
  • Simplified pairing: via gateway app and/or inclusion button; supports SmartStart (QR code) and fast provisioning where available.
  • System modularity: easy expansion by adding drivers and control devices.
  • Deep dimming <1%: smooth, flicker-free dimming with quality drivers.
  • Scenes and automation: association groups, central scene, timers, and hub-driven automations.
  • Voice compatibility: control via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri (through compatible hubs).
  • High-frequency PWM: 250–500 Hz (entry), 1–4 kHz (mid), 8–16 kHz (high-end), suitable for photo/video.
  • OTA & parameters: firmware updates and advanced parameter configuration from the hub.
  • Visual comfort: brightness adaptation for relaxation, work, or decorative accents.
  • Longer lifespan: operating at lower levels reduces heat and extends LED life.
  • Energy savings: optimized consumption with lower indirect CO₂ emissions.

Typical applications

  • Smart residential: bedrooms, living rooms, corridors, and stairs with app and scene control.
  • Hospitality: B&Bs and hotel rooms with centralized management and dimming control.
  • Retail: niches, showcases, and corners with adjustable accent lighting.
  • Offices and studios: workstations, receptions, and meeting rooms with local or area dimming.
  • Small/medium installations requiring stable mesh control without wired bus.

Available types

  • Z-Wave Dimmer 1CH: single-channel control for white or fixed-color LEDs (red, green, blue, amber, UV, etc.).
