Analog 2-channel dimming for warm/cool white LED lighting

Standard

The 0–10V / 1–10V CCT 2-channel controllers and drivers enable analog adjustment of the color temperature of warm/cool white LEDs through a control voltage. In the 0–10V standard, 0 V typically corresponds to off (or minimum, depending on the driver), while in the 1–10V standard (IEC 60929), 1 V provides the guaranteed minimum and 10 V the maximum brightness. Models are available with 12/24/36/48 V DC and 110/220 VAC input, with constant voltage (CV) or constant current (CC) outputs. Interfaces are also available that generate the 0–10V/1–10V signal (controllers) or decode it to directly drive 2-channel LED PWM loads.

System architecture

• 0–10V / 1–10V CCT 2CH dimmers: compact or flush-mounted modules for warm/cool control on two channels.
• Compatible drivers: CV/CC versions with 12/24/36/48 V DC or 110/220 VAC input and 0–10V/1–10V control input.
• Analog controllers: potentiometers/wall panels (502/503) or electronic modules generating the warm/cool signal.
• Integrated conversion: via ZigBee/0-10V, Bluetooth/0-10V, RF/0-10V, DALI/0-10V modules, etc. Wireless commands can be translated into analog signals for wired systems.
• Multiple connection: several drivers can be managed by the same signal (check sink/source current capacity and total driver input current).
• Wiring: low-voltage signal over a dedicated pair; shielded cables are recommended for long runs to reduce interference.
