DMX RGBWAU 6CH LED Controllers
Digital RGB + CCT + UV control for advanced lighting scenarios
Standard
DMX RGBWAU 6-channel controllers combine the three RGB channels (red, green, blue), the two CCT channels (warm white + cool white), and a UV channel for special effects and reactive finishes, managed via the DMX512/RDM protocol. Available models feature 12/24/36/48 V DC input and PWM outputs at constant voltage (CV). This configuration delivers maximum chromatic flexibility (RGB + CCT) and enables ultraviolet effects in a single 6-channel system.
System architecture
- DMX RGBWAU decoders: compact/recessed modules with 6CH PWM constant-voltage outputs for 12/24/36/48 V DC LED loads.
- Driver/power: DC power supplies for constant-voltage (CV) LEDs.
- Wired controls: DMX consoles/masters, wall panels (touch/slider) to adjust color, CCT, and the UV channel.
- DMX consoles/masters: control via professional consoles, DJ controllers, or PC software with Art-Net/sACN.
- Standard DMX cabling: shielded XLR 3/5-pin cable up to ~300 m without repeaters; extendable with splitters/boosters.
- Wireless DMX: cable-free links with typical coverage of 200–300 m in open air.
- Multi-zone topology: a wall panel or console can control multiple decoders within the same installation.
Advanced features
- Digital precision: smooth, stable regulation even at low levels.
- Channel composition: RGB + Warm White + Coold White + UV for extended spectrum with blacklight accents.
- Real & dynamic white: dedicated channels for functional light and natural warm tones.
- Dedicated UV channel: fluorescence effects on reactive materials (typically UVA 365–395 nm).
- Deep dimming <1%: precise, flicker-free control for broadcast, cinema, photo/video.
- High-frequency PWM: 250–500 Hz (entry), 1–4 kHz (mid), 8–32 kHz (high-end), ideal for broadcast and slow-motion.
- RDM: remote addressing, configuration, and diagnostics.
- Art-Net/sACN: Ethernet multi-universe with HTP/LTP merging for large projects.
- Longer lifetime: lower levels reduce heat and extend system life.
- Energy savings: lower consumption and reduced indirect CO₂ emissions.
Typical applications
- Events & stage: concerts, theaters, multimedia installations with chromatic + UV effects.
- Retail & exhibits: shop windows, corners, museums with fluorescent finishes and UV accents.
- Hospitality & wellness (scenic): emotional showers with water/mist fluorescence for “heavy rain” effects.
- Artistic outdoor architectural: facades, gardens, paths with fluorescent decorative elements.
Technical note
In RGBWAU systems, UV provides no circadian or therapeutic benefits and should be considered solely a scenic, artistic element. It is useful to generate fluorescence effects and emotional accents, but must be used only at controlled and temporary levels, respecting exposure limits set by ICNIRP/WHO. It must not be used as base lighting for long-stay areas.
Available types
- RGB+CCT+UV (RGBWAU): all previous functionalities plus UV for special effects or UV finish.
