Standard

Silvair is based on the Bluetooth Mesh (SIG) standard and is one of the first systems certified for Bluetooth NLC (Networked Lighting Control). It ensures open interoperability between multi-brand devices, ideal for commercial and industrial installations, with extensions to HVAC control and building automation.

System Architecture

  • BLE mesh network: each device (controller, driver, sensor) is a node extending coverage and reliability.
  • Silvair controllers: support for single-channel, CCT, RGB, and RGBW LED.
  • Management/configuration: via app or software; remote monitoring through optional gateways.
  • DALI-2/D4i sensors: integration with standard sensors (occupancy, light, energy) for advanced automation.
  • BACnet/BMS gateway: native bridge to connect Bluetooth NLC networks with Building Management Systems via BACnet protocol.

  • Global interoperability: open standard Bluetooth Mesh (SIG) with Bluetooth NLC extension.
  • Digital management: diagnostics, energy telemetry, and centralized configuration.
  • Security: native end-to-end encryption of the mesh protocol.
  • Scalability: suitable from offices to large industrial multi-site facilities.
  • Typical BLE range: approx. 10–30 m per hop indoors (line of sight); longer in open spaces. Mesh further extends coverage.
  • HVAC integration: thermostats can subscribe to occupancy/light sensors to integrate lighting with climate control.
  • Emergency lighting testing: automated scheduled tests for emergency lighting devices with local or remote monitoring.
  • DALI support: full compatibility with DALI interfaces (e.g. DALI Part 341) for wired/hybrid systems.
  • Channel limits: native support up to 4CH (RGBW); not natively supporting 5CH (RGBWA) and 6CH (RGBWAU).

Available Types

  • Single channel (Dimmer 1CH): white LED or fixed-color (red, green, blue, amber, UV, etc.).
  • CCT 2CH: dynamic warm/cool white.
  • RGB 3CH: three-channel color mixing.
  • RGBW 4CH: RGB with dedicated white channel.
