Professional LED Strips for Architectural and Technical Lighting
CV/CC LED solutions with SMD, COB, SOB, Neon and Digital technologies for any lighting project.
Construction standard and operating principle
LED strips are available in constant voltage (CV) or constant current (CC) versions. CC models integrate a current regulation IC in each segment to maintain uniform flow over long lengths. Power options include 12 / 24 / 36 / 48 V DC and 110 / 220 VAC variants. Color configurations include 1CH (monochrome), CCT 2CH (Tunable White), RGB 3CH, RGBW 4CH and RGB+CCT 5CH (RGBWA). Control is achieved through PWM drivers or interfaces such as DALI, KNX, ZigBee, Bluetooth Mesh, Z-Wave, DMX, RF, 0–10 V / 1–10 V, enabling full dimming from minimum levels to 100%.
System architecture
- Power supply / LED driver: DC (5 / 12 / 24 / 36 / 48 V) or integrated rectifiers for AC 110 / 220 V strips.
- Controller / interface: Local PWM or gateway to professional protocols for scenes and automation.
- Wiring and distribution: Power injection or multiple feed points to limit voltage drop on long runs.
- Thermal dissipation: Aluminum profiles and thermally conductive bases for stable output and lifespan.
- Modularity and connection: Printed cut marks, quick connectors or soldering; ultra-long and multi-line versions for large projects.
Technical features and benefits
- Color Rendering Index (CRI): CRI 80 / 90 / 95 / 98; focus on R9 sample for red rendering.
- TM-30-15 (IES): evaluation across 99 color samples with three indices:
- Rf (0–100) – Fidelity Index;
- Rg (~60–140) – Gamut Index (desaturation or oversaturation);
- Color Vector Graphic – hue/saturation mapping across 16 sectors to detect hue shift.
- CQS – Color Quality Scale: alternative metric with 15 saturated colors considering preference and color discrimination.
- CRI/efficiency trade-off: typically, higher CRI means lower lm/W efficiency due to phosphor/spectrum limits.
- Full spectrum / TM-30: extended spectrum versions available with balanced Rf/Rg for natural rendering.
- 99.99% gold bonding wire: used in premium LEDs for improved stability and reliability.
- Color temperature (CCT): ~1800–6500 K; Dim-to-Warm feature warms tone when dimmed.
- FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit): width and copper thickness (e.g., 2–4 oz) affect voltage drop, heating, and uniformity.
- Emission uniformity: COB (Chip on Board) and SOB (SMD on Board) for continuous light with no “dot” effect.
- Dedicated optics: wall-washing and lens series for beam control.
- Special versions:
- Built-in IC (CC) for uniformity over long lines.
- Ultra-Long for extended runs.
- Digital/Pixel with segment or per-LED addressing.
- S-Bend for side bending.
